WINE REGION

Winemaking in the Sierra de Gredos is characterised by small scale. The average size of a vineyard is less than a hectare. Many families still make their own wine here, often following traditions handed down from parents to children. And some families sell the grapes to local cooperatives. But in recent years, more and more bodegas have been marketing their wine commercially. Traditional bodegas, young, experimental winemakers, boutique wineries. Sierra de Gredos is a wine region on the rise.

Here is an overview of Gredos winemakers!
